The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

packages.debian.org set up on Sunday

Good night folx!

Some of us wanted to have a virtual hostname in the debian.org domain
for special packages mail aliases. This should be called
packages.debian.org.

I've set up this domain on master.debian.org with the following
features:

  a) Mail to <package name>@packages.debian.org will be forwarded to the
particular maintainer listed in the most recent Packages files.

  b) If the resulting address is an address on master and if there is
a file called .qmail-<package name> in the particular users
directory mail is forwarded to that address.

This way you can easily set up a "mailing list" for your packages
if more than one person works on it. Just put all maintainers
addresses in that file. Don't forget to prepend them with an
     ampersand sign.

You should already be able to use packages.debian.org as the DNS
record should be already distributed around the world. You can use
these addresses to reach a package maintainer without knowing who it
is actually, very smart I believe.

If you find an error of have further requests, please let me know.

I'm not sure if this feature of Debian GNU/Linux is worth mentioning
in some 1.3 announcement - the easiest way to reach a maintainer. You
decide.

Regards and thanks for working on 1.3,

	Joey
